It's interesting to walk or run up a hill that you normally only do in a hill-race !
This was the case today with Ben Sheann - the fine little hill above Strathyre. I was lucky with the weather - a sunny break for an hour or so between squally showers. Forestry operations were discouraging people from walking uphill - there were several trees creaking as I made my way up the mucky path. Once out of the forest, the hill has some lovely views from its crest down along Loch Lubnaig and over to Stuc a'Chroin. Found another descent route from the summit back to the forest.
