Beinn Chruin, Oct'09

An Teallach and Fisherfield was the intention for the weekend, but for various reasons, including the awful forecast, saw me heading to Tyndrum instead. Instead of parking at popular car-park Dalrigh a couple of km east of Tyndrum, I tried the Lower Railway Station. Much quieter with a sheltered run through forest to gain the track leading to Cononish. Through a couple of gates and up into mist, nothing to see. With the rain pulling in and the wind getting up, I gave up on the possibility of continuing to the Ben Lui Munro group. Details of the route are here : Lui Munros page
