Guided walk and scramble on the Bidean nam Bian massif and the Lost Valley of GlencoeDays : 1 Max ratio : 1:6 Cost : £50 Dates : 14 April (places available) Bidean nam Bian guards the southern edge of Glencoe. A huge and complex massif with intricate corries, impressive butresses, hidden caves and narrow ridges, Bidean nam Bian is the highest mountain in Argyll and as such, affords spectacular views from its summits. But what is the finest way up this complicated mountain ? Let us take you up an excellent route onto the crest, bag two Munro summits and return out via the hidden 'Lost Valley'. General outline of trip : A walk and scramble up Bidean nam Bian and Stob Coire Sgreamhach above Glencoe, bagging two Munro peaks and descending via the Lost Valley. We'll be staying in Glencoe for the weekend, scrambling up the Aonach Eagach on the Friday and heading up Ben Nevis via the Carn Mor Dearg Arete on Sunday (a discount is being offered if you'd like to come along two or more walks this weekend). We can offer pickup from Edinburgh and Stirling for shared cost of fuel and advise on places to stay. You'll need general hillwalking equipment for the day - a list is here.
