Guided Skye Black Cuillin Classic Traverse

The Skye Cuillin Ridge needs no introduction ! The ridge is technically much harder than anything else in Scotland or in the UK. For competent and fit scramblers, the finest way to appreciate the ridge is to traverse it over two days. The gabbro rock is grippy, although some sections are loose and others are well polished. Route finding can also be challenging and with some sections requiring climbing experience, having a qualified guide who knows the route well is an ideal way to get the most out of the days.

At a glance

  • Two days scrambling and climbing while traversing Skye's famed Cuillin ridge.
  • Reach superb vantage points from where vast views can be savoured.
  • Bivouac overnight on the ridge under vast skies with no 'light pollution'.
  • Summit some of the classic peaks on the Cuillin, including the famed 'Inaccessible Pinnacle'.
  • Be safe in the knowledge you're being led by an experienced and qualified guide who knows the Cuillin extremely well.
