With a huge and complex massif, intricate corries and impressive buttresses, Bidean nam Bian guards the southern edge of Glencoe. We're hiking along its fine ridges and exploring its famous 'Lost Valley'.

Blaven is reckoned to be the most beautiful hill on Skye. We're taking the direct approach to the summit with its stunning views, possibly extending the day to include the south top.

After cycle in, moderate day on gentle grassy slopes

On this mid-week day we're biking along fine tracks to the remains of remote Geldie Lodge then hiking up the two Munro mountains that overlook the ruins.

Two moderate days with some steep ascents, faint paths and fine ridges

The high peaks above the western end of Loch Cluanie and Glen Shiel dominate the skyline. On this weekend we'll be hiking on fine ridges while we take in some wonderful views.
