Classic Hill Runs and Races in Scotland - the guidebook !

Steven Fallon has together with Pocket Mountains, published a small guide to some classic hill runs and races throughout Scotland. The book lists some superb running routes in detail, along with photos, maps and key facts. In addition, there are useful tips on how to get into hill running, along with advice on training, gear and much more.

Although this book is aimed at hill-runners, the guide is very useful for those wanting new hill-routes to walk at a more leisurely hiking pace !

You can buy this guidebook through Amazon.

If you've got a GPS or some mapping software like Memory-Map or Anquet Maps, then you can download GPX files of the routes in the book for free - just click on a route below and the GPX file will be downloaded in a compressed format.
