An Stac is a rugged conical hill and one of three Corbett peaks in the north-western corner of Moidart overlooking Loch Ailort and Loch Eilt, the other two being Rois-Bheinn and Sgùrr na Ba Glaise.
The most direct approaches up An Stac are from Inverailort to the north and Alisary to the west, where footpaths lead to the base of the hill. Higher up, terrain is rugged with no obvious paths to follow.
