With its defined ridges above north-facing corries, Aonach air Chrith is a fine mountain, crowning the eastern section of the South Glen Shiel Ridge. Rising to 1020m, Aonach air Chrith is the highest peak in the range.
Most hillwalkers will tend to bag Aonach air Chrith when traversing the South Glen Shiel Ridge in full or on its easterly section from Cluanie Inn.
