Beinn a' Bhathaich Àrd overlooks the woods and farmlands of eastern Glen Strathfarrar.
A private road runs the length of Strathfarrar and from the eastern end of this glen, a rough track laid for the hydro works gains access to the base of Beinn a' Bhathaich Àrd. More recent works have extended the tracks further and it is now possible to cycle within less of 2km of the summit !
