Often overlooked by hillwalkers in favour of the nearby Munro summits on the Cruachan Horseshoe, Beinn a' Bhùiridh is a rugged Corbett hill situated directly above the Cruachan Dam, offering superb views down the length of Loch Awe from its summit.
Most hillwalkers will hike up Beinn a' Bhùiridh as a short detour from Stob Daimh on the Cruachan Horseshoe. This detour is quite pathless, though there are no real difficulties.
