Beinn Mheadhoin stands at the southern end of Strathconon, much of its bulk concealed behind little Creagan a’ Chaorainn. Mostly grass and heather covered, the hill offers an impressive summit outlook, particularly across to the Strathfarrar peaks and over the craggy northern face of nearby Bac an Eich.
From Inverchoran at the head of Strathconon, an estate track curves around Creagan a’ Chaorainn to the foot of Beinn Mheadhoin, where a rough cairned path climbs the heather-clad north-east slopes to the summit. The hill can also be readily combined with nearby Meall na Faochaig to the north, both sharing the same starting point at Inverchoran.
