The summit area of Beinn na Cloiche is broad and somewhat complex, with several knolls and scattered lochans. From its highest point, marked by a small cairn on a rocky rib, there are fine views, particularly southwards over Blackwater Reservoir towards the Southern Highlands.
Beinn na Cloiche can be combined with nearby Creag Ghuanach, with the pair most easily approached from the southern end of Loch Treig, where Staoineag Bothy below the slopes between the hills provides a useful base for an overnight stay if needed.
