Càrn an Rìgh is a remote Munro hidden behind mighty Glas Tulaichean. Domed in shape, with a broad boulder-covered summit, its shoulders and crests overlook heather-clad slopes above glens well off the beaten track.
Possibly the most direct approach is to head in on fine estate tracks from Spittal of Glenshee and over (or around) Glas Tulaichean. Alternatively, cycling in from Inverey through Glen Ey on a fine track makes leads to an excellent and varied circuit adding in other peaks including Beinn Iutharn Mhòr and Glas Tulaichean.
