Creach Bheinn is the highest peak on the horseshoe shaped ridge surrounding Glen Galmadale above Kingairloch in south-east Ardgour.

Standing near the northern end of the horseshoe shaped ridge that surrounds Glen Galmadale in south-east Ardgour, Creach Bheinn is the highest peak in the range. There are some interesting remnants of a 'Colby Camp' close to Creag Bheinn's summit and nearby on Maol Odhar is some wreckage debris of a crashed aircraft.
For an approach from Glen Tarbert, a hike up Creach Bheinn begins from a track which near the head of Loch Sunart. A finer route follows the crest of a horseshoe ridge above Glen Galmadale and begins from near Kingairloch.
