A few miles east of Roy Bridge, Creag Dhubh rises in isolation at the mouth of Glen Roy, overlooking the full sweep of Glen Spean. Its slopes are a mix of heather and grass, with the hill crowned by a distinctive conical trig point.
Thanks to its detached position, the views from the summit are exceptional - particularly towards the Grey Corries and the Aonachs.
Cille Choirill Church, nestled at the foot of the hill, is a peaceful and atmospheric site, and a lovely spot to explore before or after a hike up Creag Dhubh.
