Surrounding Glen Roy are several hills, with three of them called Carn Dearg. This Carn Dearg overlooks Glen Turret at the northern end of Glen Roy.
With some of the most tedious peat-hag and grass-tussock ground to cover, routes up to Carn Dearg are a slog. A confusing summit in mist, but on clearer days, views reward the effort needed to get there !
