Spidean a’ Choire Lèith is the eastern and highest summit of Liathach, the mightiest of the Torridon giants. Rising on quartzite blocks above sandstone terraces, it commands sweeping views across Torridon’s glens, lochs and rugged ridges. To the west lie the Am Fasarinen pinnacles and Liathach's other Munro summit, Mullach an Rathain.
Most walkers climb Spidean a’ Choire Lèith as part of a Liathach traverse, starting up a path from Glen Torridon to reach the summit from the east before continuing over the Am Fasarinen pinnacles to Mullach an Rathain. The traverse requires scrambling ability and a good head for exposure.
