Meall na Leitreach is a Corbett that dominates the southern end of Drumochter Pass, where the buildings of Dalnaspidal lie at its foot as part of Ben Alder Estate. Meall na Leitreach's steep western face drops sharply towards Loch Garry, while its upper slopes and summit plateau give fine views over the Drumochter hills and into Highland Perthshire.
The simplest ascent follows estate and ATV tracks from Dalnaspidal, climbing steadily onto the broad ridge. This makes for a short and straightforward outing, though the route can be extended into a more interesting circuit by exploring neighbouring tops and ridges above Glen Garry.
