Scottish mountain weather and webcams

Interactive map showing Scottish mountain webcams and regional weather links, with popups highlighting live views and forecasts for hill and route planning.

About this map

This map brings together a selection of Scottish mountain webcams along with weather-forecast links for each major hill region. It is intended as a quick reference tool for checking current conditions, gaining a visual impression of the hills, and accessing reliable forecast sources before planning a walk or climb.

How to use the map

Webcam locations are shown with camera icons. Selecting an icon displays a popup with the most recent image provided by the webcam host, along with a link to the source website.

Weather regions are labelled directly on the map. Clicking a label opens a small popup containing forecast links for that area, including MWIS, the Met Office and other region-specific services.

Popups can be closed by clicking elsewhere on the map, and the map can be panned or zoomed normally.

Notes on the webcams and weather links

The webcams shown here are operated by a range of independent hosts and may occasionally be unavailable, out of date or delivered via non-secure connections. Forecast links lead to external websites that publish their own interpretations of mountain weather conditions.

If you notice a broken link or webcam, or know of any other useful sources that could be included, please get in touch and I’ll update the page where possible.
