South of Glenfinnan, Sgòrr Craobh a' Chaorainn is a rugged wee hill in the northern corner of Ardgour, its rocky higher ground sitting ontop of grass-covered slopes. A tidy cairn of broken boulders stands on Sgòrr Craobh a' Chaorainn's highest point from where views to Gulvain and the Glenfinnan hills are particularly fine.

The easiest approach to Sgòrr Craobh a' Chaorainn is from Callop to the north from where a hydro track and right-of-way footpath are followed to the foot of the hill on its eastern side.

A longer route heads in from the east through Cona Glen from Inverscaddle Bay on Loch Linnhe. An estate travels along the length of this glen, on which a bike could be used.
