Sguman Coinntich is the most westerly of the Killilan Forest Corbetts, its summit standing above sweeping grass covered slopes to the south and steep ground with cliffs and rocky buttresses on its northern face.
From Killilan there are tracks that travel along the glens north and south of Sguman Coinntich, though neither of these climb up the mountain itself. The track in the northern glen, Coire Mor, reaches the higher of the two, gaining Bealach Mhic Bheathain at a height of around 750m, however immediately above this, rocky buttresses block progress.
