Sgùrr Coire Choinnichean is a distinctive Corbett overlooking Inverie on the Knoydart peninsula. Its grassy slopes rise above forests and past the impressive gorge of Slochd a’ Mhoghafine to lead onto a fine summit ridge.
The most straightforward route starts from Inverie, following estate and forestry tracks up the western slopes. After passing around the gorge of Slochd a’ Mhoghafine, a grassy ridgeline leads to its summit. Extending the route onwards to Ladhar Bheinn makes for a grand hillwalking circuit.
