Rising dramatically above the western end of Glen Shiel, the narrow and striking Forcan Ridge leads up to the flat summit of The Saddle.
A direct route from Glen Shiel takes in some thrilling but fairly easy rock scrambling along the famed Forcan Ridge to lead up to the flat summit of The Saddle. Continuing over nearby Sgurr na Sgine forms a fine horseshoe route or leads eastwards along the chain of peaks that make up the South Glen Shiel ridge.
