Toll Creagach is the most easterly of the Affric Munros, standing above the steep slopes that overlook Gleann nam Fiadh at the eastern end of Glen Affric. Unlike the sharply defined ridges of its neighbours, it is characterised by a broad, grassy shoulder stretching westwards.

The most common approach is from Glen Affric, following a stalker’s path that climbs to Bealach Toll Easa, the col between Toll Creagach and Tom a’ Chòinnich. From here, the summit is reached by a steady ascent up grassy slopes. Hillwalkers are likely to combine both Munros in a single outing, while stronger parties extend the route westwards to include Càrn Eighe and the other Affric peaks, or take on the full Mullardoch Round.
