Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin with its neighbour Stob Coire Easain are the highest points on the grassy mountain ridge that runs north-east to south-west between Loch Treig and the Làirig Leacach. These high grey peaks have bouldery summits and a lovely ridge up to and between them.

The A86 travels along the length of Glen Spean but stays on the northern side of the River Spean, giving limited access to Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin and Stob Coire Easain from the north. The nearest access points are Fersit near Tulloch Station and Corriechoille east of Spean Bridge.

From other directions, there are no roads nearby. However if staying at Loch Ossian Hostel (possibly arriving by train at Corrour Halt and on a Munro-bagging spree up Beinn na Lap and neighbours), you could approach these Munros from Creaguaineach to the south.
