Beinn nan Eun is a remote Graham standing high above the upper reaches of Glen Glass in Easter Ross. Its rounded summit and wide grassy plateau offer expansive views over the Northern Highlands, with the vast form of Ben Wyvis dominating the southern skyline. The hill’s slopes are largely covered in heather and pathless, adding to its wild and solitary feel.
The most scenic approach starts from Glen Glass, combining a cycle along the estate track beside Loch Glass with a rough, heathery hike from a small hydro dam beneath the hill’s eastern face.
A shorter and more direct approach can be made from Strath Rannoch, also cyclable, but less scenic. This route makes Beinn nan Eun a more isolated, out-and-back effort.
