Lurking for the most part behind Arkle and other hills, Meall Horn appears a rounded and mainly grass covered hill from roadside glimpses. Its summit crest is of stoney ground sitting above a hidden craggy north-east facing aspect.
The most direct and easiest access to Meall Horn heads in from the southern end of Loch Stack, where a private road and tracks heads to within a mile of the summit. This track is cycleable !
